Maintain your Furnace Regularly

The story of Tim Greenlaw provides a vivid picture of the importance of maintaining your furnace regularly.  Greenlaw and his family of one other adult and four children recently found themselves in a scary situation when their camper’s furnace caught fire early in the morning.  Fortunately the entire family was able to safely escape, after which Greenlaw took several buckets of rainwater to douse the majority of the fire before firefighters arrived.  According to reports, Greenlaw briefly fired up his furnace last spring but had not maintained it since then.  The family is safe but the camper was severely damaged.  Regular furnace maintenance could have potentially prevented this close call.
