The professionals at Northern’s One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning have put together some of our most common maintenance tips that can help prevent air conditioning problems.

Change Your Ail Filter

One of the most common causes of air conditioning problems can be a clogged or dirty filter. Check, change, or clean your air filter at least every three months so air flow is not restricted through the filter.

Clean Your Condenser

If your air conditioner is having trouble cooling your home, check your condenser. The condenser is charged with cooling the air before it gets released into the house, but the condenser can have issues functioning when it becomes clogged with dust or debris. Be proactive and clear any tall grass, branches ,or other items that could block air flow and create issues with your outdoor condenser.
